Just Seen: The Forbidden Kingdom

Finally, the first movie where two of the biggest martial-arts actors are starring together is released! Jackie Chan and Jet Li meet in The Forbidden Kingdom directed by Rob Minkoff (Stuart Little). Drunken Immortal (Jackie Chan) and Silent Monk (Jet Li) are working together to help a kid named Jason (Michael Angarano) to give back an ancient staff belonged to Monkey King (also played by Jet Li). Monkey King was deceived and turned into stone by Jade Warlord (Collin Chou) in a duel.

The plot is simple but very entertaining and funny. We can also see some beautiful scenes. And the duel of Chan and Li in the temple inside the jungle must be the most-awaited scene by the martial-arts film fans all around the world. Amazing! The opening credit with classic Kung Fu film posters as backgrounds also very attractive. In one word... COOL!!! (7/10)
